In this disruptive area, the role of technology in the company is important. By utilizing the role of technology, Company works will become easier to achieve. Besides having effective work, the company would also spend a low cost on their performances. One of the newest technologies beneficial to company performance is Artificial Intelligence. Artificial Intelligence or the shortened AI, defines as a new technology that simulates the human intelligence processes carried out by machines, especially computer systems. While a recruitment process is a process of selecting the best candidates that match the company’s needs. So, for the tech talk topic, I choose the topic of Artificial Intelligence in the Recruitment process. In detail, these are the list of important points that should be discussed in this tech talk writing, which are:
• How Artificial Intelligence (AI) is beneficial to the company recruitment process?
• How the tools of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies are work in the company recruitment process?

In the recruitment process, we believe that many candidates applied to the job. If the recruiter does not have a good strategy for organizing and selecting the data, the recruitment process will be inefficient. Time and cost will also be very much needed. Also, a problem identified in the traditional recruitment process is the influence of biases or subjective to the candidate (Johansson, J., and Herranen, S. 2019). That is why Artificial Intelligence came as a new strategy for the recruitment process. Several companies have implemented Artificial Intelligence in their recruitment process. Those companies are Unilever, Google, and Amazon. Usually, this Artificial Intelligence takes the form of software or algorithm that supports the recruitment process to be more organized. These are several parts of AI recruitment technologies is Resume Screening Software and Chat-bot Interview.

The first Artificial Intelligence (AI) recruitment technologies is an Applicant Tracking System (ATS). This software is helping the recruiter in sorting all of the applicant’s resumes. According to Shields J (2018), reported that 98% of Fortune 500 companies use ATS. The job site like LinkedIn, JobStreet also utilizes its own ATS. This software could collect and stores the applicant’s resumes in one database. Then, those collections of resumes would automatically scan by ATS in aims to ranks or scores the resume based on how matched the resume with the job description. The selected resumes are also supported by ATS algorithms. It means that the software utilizes optical character recognition, which could scan the characters or letters that recognized. For example, a candidate applies in a Sales position, then to be passed from ATS, the resume must include the letter sales experience. If the candidates are not matched with the job description, then it will not be selected to be interviewed. On average, the rejected resumes record by ATS is 75% of the resumed received (The Career Force, 2018). It is means only 25% of resumes could pass the software screening. The example of an Applicant Tracking System is Smart Recruiters, Recruiterbox, etc. Next, the competitive advantages of using the Applicant Tracking System are hiring people faster, selected the top talent, and lowering the recruitment cost.
Moreover, the Applicant Tracking System not only organizing the candidate resume, but it also includes the next step of the hiring process, which is interviewing. By utilizing the ATS, today’s interview could available by using an online video interview. Besides the ATS online video interview, there are other AI tools to conduct the interview, which is Interview Chat-bot. It is an online or video interview that supported by the Natural Language Protocol (NLP). The example of Interview Chat-bot is HireVue. It is making the interviewing session easier since the applicant only talks to the camera and answer all the questions made by the recruiter. Then the result of the interview would be recorded. From the recorded interview, the software could decode visually what candidates’ answer, the creative thought, and the body language. Also, by utilizing this software, it could avoid the bias rather than using the face-to-face interview. It all objectively recognized and scored by AI technology. There are several companies have implemented the HireVue which are Goldman Sachs, Vodafone, Nike, and Carnival Cruise Line (CNBC, 2018). It would beneficial for the human who is worried when facing a face-to-face interview. Since in the online interview, they may not see humans, but all are recorded by the systems.
In conclusion, the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has given the benefit to several companies, especially in the recruitment process. The two tools of Artificial Intelligence, Applicant Tracking System and Interview Chat-bot have been created very well to supported the recruitment process. However, the implementation of AI in the workplace should also be supported by the skills of the recruiter. since the role of a recruiter is still needed to analyze the complicated recruitment process. In other words, a recruiter needs to understand the tools of Artificial Intelligence to be implemented in the workplace.

How Do Applicant Tracking Systems Work? ATS Explained
This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.
You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
